My name is Doodah G., known to some as “Croc”—an independent artist, producer, and audio engineer. I create music that blends raw storytelling with unapologetic intensity, reflecting the gritty reality of my life experiences and the environment that shaped me. I’ve always believed that music is more than just sound; it’s a language that conveys pain, triumph, and everything in between. I founded Savage Symphony Media to serve as a platform where authentic voices like mine can resonate without compromise. My Story I was born in Evanston, Illinois, but spent my formative years evenly between there and Brookhaven, Mississippi—a place often overlooked but deeply influential in molding who I am. Growing up, I witnessed the struggle and consequences of street life firsthand. With few options and even fewer opportunities, I turned to music as a way to channel my pain, trauma, and desire for change. But music didn’t start off as a plan; it became a lifeline during a period of personal loss and incarceration. My path to becoming an artist wasn’t a straight line. Before I ever wrote my first lyric, I was navigating life’s most dangerous crossroads. Facing gang violence, personal betrayals, and losing my best friend and brother in the streets, I found myself teetering between survival and self-destruction. Through it all, I remained determined to find my voice. It was in that darkness that I discovered my passion for music—telling stories others couldn’t and wouldn’t tell.
